Golf: Schauffele wins 2024 Open

US golfer Xander Schauffele took on Sunday the win at the Open Golf Championships 2024 at the Royal Troon Golf Club, Troon, in Britain.

This is the 30-year-old's second major title this year, having previously taken the crown at the PGA Championship. He shot 6-under 65 during the Sunday contest. Schauffele is the sixth ever person in golf history to win these two tournaments in the same year.

Meanwhile, English golfer Justin Rose and US golfer Billy Horschel were tied for second place.
