Google to manufacture Pixel phone in India

Google will manufacture its Pixel smartphone in India, Google's Senior Vice President of Devices and Services, Rick Osterloh, stated Thursday at the Made by Google event in New Delhi, India.

The first devices would begin to hit the market in 2024, the company executive added.

The comments come weeks after Google announced the launch of the device's latest versions, Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, at the Made by Google event in New York City.
