Google LLC rolled out fresh features for its artificial intelligence chatbot, Bard, on Tuesday allowing it to access information available on users' Google apps and services.
The new extensions will include several features, with one allowing the chatbox to draft a travel itinerary by merging information from the users' Gmail, Docs, and Google Flights, as well as find data stored on Drive upon instruction. The newly added features are currently available in English only.
"We're committed to protecting your personal information," the company noted, underlining that data stored on Google apps will not be accessed by human reviewers or used to train the Bard model. "You're always in control of your privacy settings when deciding how you want to use these extensions, and you can turn them off at any time," Google added.
