Governor: Blasts at Engels air base under investigation

The incident at the Engels air base is under investigation, and so far, no civilian infrastructure has been damaged, local Governor Roman Busargin said Monday.

Previously, explosions were reported at the Engels air base in Russia, several hundred kilometers from the front line. However, according to a message posted by Busargin on Telegram, there were "no emergencies in residential areas of the city," and there were no "threats" to the citizens of the place.

Finally, the governor assured that all information about the incident was being investigated by law enforcement.
