HSBC Holdings plc reported a 5% increase in revenue to $17.0 billion for the third quarter of 2024, compared to the same period last year.
The bank's profit before tax increased by $0.8 billion to $8.5 billion year-on-year, while profit after tax grew by $0.5 billion to $6.7 billion.
"We delivered another good quarter, which shows that our strategy is working. There was strong revenue growth and good performances in Wealth and Wholesale Transaction Banking," said HSBC CEO Georges Elhedery.
