Haley wins GOP primary in Vermont

Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley secured her first win on Super Tuesday against former United States President Donald Trump in the Vermont Republican primary, according to Decision Desk HQ projections.

Haley and Trump went neck to neck in Vermont, with Haley narrowly beating Trump in the state with 17 delegates at stake.

Haley secured 65 delegates so far, winning her second primary overall, the first one being the Washington DC GOP primary on Sunday, which made her the first Republican woman to win a presidential primary.
