Hamas's Qassam Brigades claimed responsibility for killing and wounding Israeli soldiers in an ambush in southern Gaza.

The group stated that its fighters ambushed enemy vehicles in the Saudi neighborhood of Tal as-Sultan, west of Rafah. They reported targeting an Israeli D9 bulldozer with an Al-Yassin 105 shell, resulting in the deaths and injuries of soldiers.

The Qassam Brigades added that they destroyed a troop carrier with another Al-Yassin 105 missile when an Israeli rescue force arrived, killing those on board.
