Hamas stated on Monday that it's considering the Gaza ceasefire proposed by "mediators," and it will have an answer promptly.
"The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) affirms that the movement's leadership is studying, with great national responsibility, the proposal it received from the brothers mediators and will submit its response as soon as possible, once the necessary consultations are completed," the militant group stated on Telegram.
The answer came after the group reportedly rejected a previous proposal sent by Egypt, demanding the Palestinian group's disarmament.
