Hamas official Osama Hamdan (pictured) announced that there has been no progress in ceasefire talks with Israel regarding the Gaza conflict.
Speaking at a news conference in Beirut, Hamdan stated that the group remains open to any proposal that ends the war, ensures a permanent ceasefire and guarantees the complete withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza. Hamdan criticized the US administration, particularly President Joe Biden, for the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The news comes after it was reported that Washington laid out new terms to secure an agreement on the ceasefire in Gaza.
