Harris campaign: Trump's NJ speech 'another public meltdown'

Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign is trying a new tactic ahead of former President Donald Trump's Bedminster, New Jersey, news conference, calling it "another public meltdown."

In a satirical media advisory on Thursday, the campaign claimed that Trump "intends to deliver another self-obsessed rant full of his own personal grievances to distract from his toxic Project 2025 agenda, unpopular running mate, and increasing detachment from the reality of the voters who will decide this election."

On Trump's criticism of the attendance numbers at Harris' events, insinuating that the images have been altered using AI to show more people than actual participants, the campaign responded: "[Trump's] remarks will not be artificial intelligence, but they certainly will lack intelligence." Trump is expected to appear in Bedminster at 4:30 p.m. ET.
