Harris leads Trump 45% to 41% in new poll

United States Vice President Kamala Harris leads former President Donald Trump by four points, a new Reuters/Ipsos poll showed on Thursday.

The survey, conducted from August 20 to 28, shows Harris' support at 45% compared to Trump's 41%. The previous poll from August 2-7 had Harris leading Trump 42% to 37%.

However, Trump is ahead of Harris 45% to 43% in the seven battleground states that were closely contested in 2020: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
