Health Ministry: 37,124 dead in Gaza since Oct. 7

37,124 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have died since the start of the Israel-Hamas conflict, the Hamas-run Health Ministry estimated on Monday. Around 84,712 have been injured, according to the ministry's data.

Within the last 24 hours, 40 people died and 218 were injured, the officials said. Meanwhile, the death toll from an Israeli rescue operation in Nuseirat refugee camp in Central Gaza grew to 283, with 814 injured.

6 killed in Israeli strike on Gaza's Khan Younis
Six people were killed in an Israeli attack on the Qizan Abu Rashwan area in Khan Younis, a city in southern Gaza, Al Jazeera reported, citing health officials. Earlier the same day, one was killled in a separate strike on the same district, raising the total number of deaths in Gaza to 27 since the morning. Medical sources said the death toll includes those killed in multiple strikes across the enclave since dawn.
