Hezbollah is not responsible for launching rockets at northern Israel, the Lebanon-based group's unnamed official told Al Mayadeen on Friday.

The official claimed that these incidents "come in the context of fabricating suspicious pretexts to continue the Israeli aggression against Lebanon," adding that Hezbollah remains committed to the ceasefire.

Earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz warned that "there will be no peace in Beirut" without peace in Israel's northern communities.
