The Writers Guild of America (WGA) announced it will allow its members to resume work, ending a nearly five-month strike.

This move comes as a tentative agreement was reached between the WGA negotiators and Hollywood's studios and streaming services.

The strike, which disrupted production, has been focused on securing higher pay and protections against the use of artificial intelligence.
