Home Depot announces $15 billion share buyback

Home Depot Inc. stated on Thursday that it is launching a share repurchase program worth $15 billion.

The company also declared a second-quarter cash dividend of $1.90 per share, with the dividend payable on September 15 to all shareholders with stock as of September 1. Home Depot said this is the 142. consecutive quarter it has paid a cash dividend.
