Yemen's Houthi forces attacked US aircraft carriers Harry Truman and Carl Vinson and their naval vessels in the Red Sea, Houthis spokesperson Yahya Saree (pictured) said in a statement on Monday.
Additionally, the Iran-backed rebel group claimed it carried out two military operations using drones, striking Israeli targets in Ashkelon and Umm al-Rashrash.
The latest Houthi attack comes in response to the US air strikes on Yemen's capital Sanaa, which resulted in at least 12 killed and 30 injured, according to Houthis.
