Houthi movement leader Abdul-Malik Badruldeen al-Houthi said on Thursday that the rebel group is preparing military "surprises" in the Red Sea that "our enemies will not expect at all."
In a televised speech, the Iran-backed group head noted that the United States is responsible for the militarization of the Red Sea and for turning the region into the "battlefield."
Finally, the Houthi chief vowed the group will keep conducting operations in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Strait of Bab al-Mandab, claiming that these actions would be highly effective.
