Hungarian Prime Minister's Office head Gergely Gulyas announced on Thursday that the Hungarian government is extending the ban on Ukrainian agricultural products after it decided to block the import of Ukrainian grain last week. He said Hungary is ready to help Ukraine but its solidarity is limited by the need to protect its farmers.
The list of banned products contains 25 items, including meat, vegetables, oil, honey, rapeseed and sunflower seeds. The measure will be in place until the end of June. Hungary is still allowing Ukrainian grain to transit through its territory.
