IAEA's Grossi hails Italy's diplomatic role in nuclear talks

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi on Saturday met with Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani in Rome before the second round of nuclear negotiations between the United States and Iran. and praised Italy's diplomatic role in these talks.

"I welcome Italy’s constructive and increasingly relevant role in support of peace at a critical moment when diplomacy is much needed," Grossi wrote in a post on X.

Previously, Tajani also held a meeting with Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and said he expects all parties involved to "reach a positive solution for the Middle East."
