Swiss parliament approves probe into Credit Suisse collapse

Swiss Upper House of Parliament on Wednesday unanimously greenlighted the recommendation for investigation into the collapse of Credit Suisse Group by Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CEP), local media wrote.

The probe will also reportedly look into the takeover deal by UBS Group, according to Swiss media.

Switzerland's President Alain Berset previously praised the aquisition plan to be the "best solution" for "restoring confidence that has been lacking the financial markets recently."
