International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi announced on Wednesday that he established a support and assistance mission at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant (NPP) in Ukraine. The plant has been under threat since the start of Russia's invasion of Ukraine along with other nuclear power facilities in the country.
"Our experts will stay at all Ukrainian NPPs to provide vital nuclear safety and security assistance in these extremely difficult and challenging times," Grossi said.
