The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported on Thursday that its troops had dismantled dozens of infrastructure sites in northern Gaza during ongoing ground operations in 'Morag' corridor but did not specify how many people were killed. According to the military, structures used for hostile activity were destroyed, and several tunnel shafts leading to underground networks were located in Rafah's Tel al-Sultan and Shaboura neighborhoods.
While the IDF stated that "a number" or "several" individuals were eliminated in northern Gaza, it did not provide a casualty figure, nor did it clarify whether those killed were holding positions within any militant group. In parallel, it said it struck approximately 35 targets across the Gaza Strip, including observation posts and infrastructure it described as posing a direct threat.
Separately, the IDF confirmed that it will dismiss reservists who signed a letter demanding that hostage release be prioritized over combat operations.
