IDF kills 62 Palestinians in Gaza in one day

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have killed 62 Palestinians in Gaza since dawn on Saturday, Al Jazeera reported, citing hospital sources.

Of the 62 people killed, 38 died seeking aid at aid distribution sites operated by the United States and Israel-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).

The deaths come after Israel announced it would start implementing a "humanitarian pause" in densely populated areas of the Gaza Strip in order to enable aid distribution.
