The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said that its fighter jets struck "two military sites that contained Hezbollah weapons, which were in violation of the ceasefire agreement" in Lebanon.
The statement, posted on X, did not specify where exactly the strikes took place, but earlier reports said that the Israeli fighter jets targeted the Nabatieh area and the Beqaa Valley.
The IDF said it "continues to operate to remove any threat to the State of Israel" and stressed it would stop any attempt by Hezbollah to rebuild its forces, "in accordance with the ceasefire understandings." The ceasefire between Hezbollah and Israel has been extended to February 18.
