The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed carrying out airstrikes on Sunday targeting "a Hezbollah command center and other buildings" used by the group in southern Lebanon, the Times of Israel reported.
The command center was used by Hezbollah's elite Radwan force, the IDF said.
"The presence of these terror infrastructure sites constitutes a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon. The IDF will not allow this kind of activity and will act against it," the Israeli military said. "The IDF will strike armed terrorists in southern Lebanon, and will operate in order to remove any threat to the State of Israel," the IDF added.
