Illinois state House Democrats voted to remove nine Republicans from the chamber for refusing to comply with a mask mandate.
The motion was introduced by Representative Lakesia Collins and passed along party lines in a 66-39 vote.
"I am asking you to simply follow the rules of this chamber. That's it," explained Collins.
