India adds 337,704 daily COVID cases

India's Health and Family Welfare Ministry said that 337,704 people were diagnosed with COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

The figure brings India's total number of cases since the pandemic started to 38,903,731.

Meanwhile, the death toll from the disease climbed by 488 to 488,884 and the number of recovered patients reached 36,301,482.
