The Indian military and the country's Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology are developing software based on 5g and 6g systems for military use, Sputnik reported on Thursday, citing sources with knowledge of the matter.

According to the report, the new software aims to suit future war-fighting challenges, such as AI-based decisions. The new tools will allow military commanders to accelerate the decision-making process and the analysis of different fighting situations.

The Indian military sector has been working in recent years on the development and application of new systems based on modern technology in order to respond to continuous cyber threats.
