Indian PM Modi confirms participation in BRICS summit

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi confirmed on Thursday his participation in the upcoming BRICS summit in South Africa.

The news followed a telephone conversation between Modi and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.

According to the readout of the conversation, the two sides discussed the progress in bilateral cooperation in the context of the 30th anniversary of their diplomatic relations.
