Indonesian team to vist Washington for tariff talks

Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto (pictured) said on Monday the country will send a delegation to Washington DC this week for negotiations on tariffs.

Hartarto noted Indonesian ministers will meet with United States Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnck, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent during their trip which will take place from April 16 to April 23.

The Indonesian delegation will include Hartarto, Deputy Chair of the National Economic Council (DEN) Mari Elka Pangestu, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Deputy Finance Minister Thomas Djiwandono and Foreign Minister Sugiono, who is already on his way to the US.
