Injury toll from Iran's port explosion reaches 516, 4 dead

The spokesperson for Iran's Emergency Organization announced that following the powerful explosion at Shahid Rajaee Port in Bandar Abbas, emergency teams were quickly mobilized, transferring 516 injured individuals to hospitals so far, according to IRNA on Saturday. So far, four people have been reported dead.

Meanwhile, Iran's National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) stated that the Persian Gulf Star Refinery continues operations safely. According to Saturday's IRNA report, the refinery's oil processing and storage activities remain uninterrupted, and the explosion had no impact on its facilities.

Investigations into the cause and damage of the explosion are still ongoing.
