Intel soars 10% after earnings beat estimates

Shares of Intel Corporation soared more than 10% on Friday as investors digested the company's latest earnings report.

The chipmaker's report on Thursday showed that, despite falling 8% and 72% on an annual basis respectively, its $14.2 billion third-quarter revenue and $0.07 earnings per share still topped estimates.

Intel's stock rallied 10.95% to sell for $36.1050 at 9:50 am ET.
