Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Saturday, following the second round of nuclear talks between the United States and his country, that "negotiations are progressing."

"We managed to reach a better understanding on a number of principles and goals," the minister told reporters in Rome.

In addition, the minister noted that the next round of talks will take place on Saturday, April 26, in Oman, but before that, technical talks at an expert level will be held there on Wednesday, April 23.
