The British Ministry of Defence on Saturday said the Iranian regime is likely to up its support of the Russian military in the months ahead as Moscow attempts to get more "weapons, including hundreds of ballistic missiles" from one of its "top military backers."
The ministry said in return Tehran is probably getting "an unprecedented level of military and technical support" and that Russia's success in acquiring more Iranian missiles will help Moscow's "campaign of strikes against Ukraine's critical national infrastructure."
The United Kingdom's assessment comes after Iran admitted to providing Russia with drones prior to the invasion of Ukraine, but denied arming either side of the conflict since it started.
