Iran's Ambassador to the United Nations Amir-Saeid Iravani called on the UN Security Council (UNSC) to "at least explicitly condemn" strikes from the United States and Israel.7

"The double standards are blatant. While the US, United Kingdom, France maintain massive nuclear arsenals and overlook Israel's undeclared stockpiles, they baselessly claim Iran's peaceful program threatens international peace and security," Iravani said at the UNSC meeting. "This political accusations has been refuted for years by Iran's transparency and its full cooperation with IAEA," he added.

"Iran never initiated this war. Once aggressors stopped their attacks, Iran stopped its lawful military response as well. Nevertheless, Iran will not overlook the deceit and double standards. Our great armed forces remain fully prepared to respond to any further threats or violation," Iravani stressed.
