Iranian Defense Minister Mohammad-Reza Gharaei Ashtiani (pictured) on Saturday denounced recent United States and British strikes on Yemen, labeling them as clear acts of aggression.

According to Ashtiani, the actions by the Western nations against the rebel Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, commonly known as the Houthis, are condemnable. Ashtiani emphasized that the Houthis' endeavors are directed at supporting the Palestinian nation facing oppression. Furthermore, he asserted that the Ansar Allah movement independently decides on attacks, including those on ships in the Red Sea and against forces of the Western coalition.
