Iran denies reports it has a nuclear device missing

Iran does not have a nuclear device missing from its reactor in Bushehr, IRNA reported on Monday, citing an anonymous source.

The person familiar with the matter added that reports of a missing nuclear device that showed up in Saudi media are “politically motivated.”

IRNA reported that Iran had reported a missing iridium-192 camera to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) some time ago. The source added that the IAEA and other international bodies confirmed that Iran has always been bound by nuclear safeguards, thus even endangering the ecosystem of the Persian Gulf.
