Senior Iranian lawmaker Aladdin Boroujerdi, a member of parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, announced on Friday on state television that the sixth round of talks with the United States will not take place following the Israeli attacks.

"Iran will not participate in the nuclear negotiations with the United States scheduled for Sunday," Boroujerdi said while adding that the country will not participate in nuclear negotiations with the US until further notice.

Earlier, Israel initiated extensive military strikes on Iran, targeting nuclear sites, missile production facilities, and military leadership positions, declaring it as the beginning of a sustained campaign to stop Tehran from developing nuclear weapons.
