Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian reiterated on Saturday, while speaking on the phone with Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement Ziad Nakhaleh, that Iran will continue to provide political support to Palestine.

The Iranian diplomat stressed that Tehran will support the "Palestinian people and their resistance in the path of liberating the occupied territories, and the formation of an independent Palestinian state."

Previously, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi warned Israel that his country will "destroy Tel Aviv," should the latter make a "wrong move" against Iran.
