Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi remarked on Thursday that the country will respond to United States President Donald Trump's letter "in the coming days" and send it "through the appropriate channels."
Speaking to the press in Tehran, Araghchi described the letter as "mostly threatening" but also noted that "there are opportunities" for progress in the relations between Iran and the US. "I promise to the people that, as foreign policy agents, we will not spare any effort to serve the people, and will not miss any opportunity."
Previously, it was reported that Trump gave Iran a two-month deadline to agree on a new nuclear deal or risk potential military repercussions.
