Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson Avichay Adraee told RIA Novosti on Saturday that the country is certain of Iran's financing of Hamas.
Adraee stated that although there is not enough information to claim that Iran was directly involved in the planning of the attack on Israel that took place on October 7, "we do have enough information to say that Iran supports the Hamas movement and finances a significant part of its activities ... supporting it with weapons, training and [giving] instructions."
In previous reports, it was said that Tehran was aware of Hamas' plans, but the country wasn't aware of the scale or the timing of these strikes.
