Iran vows 'more crushing' response if Israel strikes again

Iran's Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces Abdolrahim Mousavi said on Wednesday that in case of any act of aggression by Israel, his country's response will be "more crushing than before."

"Our response will be regret-inducing, and the enemies must know that any illegal and threatening action will be met with a firm and serious reaction from us," Mousavi said. "Even if this happens twenty times over, we will respond to the enemies each time more forcefully than before," he added.

Although the two countries agreed to a ceasefire, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar called on the European countries to restore all sanctions on Iran after Tehran suspended its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
