Representatives from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will travel to Tehran within the next two weeks, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said on Monday. While the IAEA will not be allowed to inspect Iran's nuclear sites, the visit renews the possibility of further cooperation, after Tehran suspended relations with the agency earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Baghaei ruled out any nuclear deal negotiations with the United States in the near future. "Whenever national interests and necessities demand, an appropriate decision will be taken and announced," he said at a press briefing.
