Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami (pictured) underlined on Sunday during a speech that Israel will pay a "heavy price" for invading Syrian territory after the recent turmoil and toppling of the Assad regime.
Commenting on Tehran's presence in Syria, Salami insisted that Iranian forces didn't go there to "annex a part of Syrian territory" nor to make it a "field for our ambitious interests."
Previously, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that recently, Israel launched 61 missiles across the country.
