Iran: Russia has important role in US nuclear talks

Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani said on Tuesday that Iran's nuclear energy cooperation with Russia means Moscow will play an important role in Iran's negotiations with the United States. Teams from Tehran and Washington held indirect talks last week on a potential nuclear deal, with two more rounds scheduled for this week.

Meanwhile, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reaffirmed it is "ready to respond to any potential threat" as negotiations continue and stands in support of the Iranian delegation.
