Iran: Threats may lead to enriched material being hidden

Advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Ali Shamkhani, warned on Thursday that should "external threats" against Tehran continue, the country might resort to "deterrent measures."

With persistent threats, Iran could decide to expel the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors or transfer the enriched material to "undisclosed locations," the advisor detailed in a post on X.

While the United States and Iran are set to hold high-level discussions in Oman during the weekend about the latter's nuclear program plan, US President Donald Trump continued to insist that if a deal is not reached a military action could ensue.
