Iraq's Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul Ghani said Monday that his country will follow OPEC's (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) decisions regarding production, stating that the country will not exceed a production level of 4 million barrels per day (bpd), SkyNews Arabia reported from a conference.
Furthermore, he noted that current oil exports leaving Iraq are estimated to range between 3.35 million and 3.4 million barrels per day.
West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for March contracts went down 0.95% to $76.11 a barrel at 12:8 pm ET. Brent for April deliveries lost 1.01% to $81.36 per barrel.
