Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar (pictured) stated Sunday that the United States understands Israel's decision to stop the entry of aid into Gaza. "We can't move forward now because Hamas rejects the ceasefire framework," he added.
Saar also emphasized that Israel's commitment to allowing aid was limited to the first phase of the ceasefire, which has now concluded. "Our commitment to the entry of goods into Gaza was only in the first phase and is over," he remarked.
He then dismissed warnings of a potential famine in Gaza, calling such claims a "lie."
