The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a drone strike targeting armed militants in the city of Jenin, according to an IDF announcement.

The operation, conducted by the Israeli soldiers along with border police, encountered armed resistance, prompting security forces to return fire, the IDF clarified. It went on to accuse the militants of firing at Israeli soldiers and hurling explosive devices at them.
