The Israeli and the Lebanese governments accepted on Tuesday the final draft deal mediated by the United States on a maritime border between the two countries.
Commenting on what looks like will become a historic deal between traditional rivals in the Mideast, Israel's national security adviser Eyal Hulata confirmed all requests made by his country were fulfilled in the agreement.
The dispute, which Israel and Lebanon have been aiming to resolve for over a decade, revolves around a disputed area in the Mediterranean filled with gas that could be worth billions of dollars.
